| Benedict Haven - Making a Difference |
Benedict Haven is very proud of the services provided to our residents and for the quality of home it has made available to our residents. Our in-house day treatment program is very successful and different from the routine programs provided in the community.
Our mission also includes an aggressive outreach program. It is our desire to educate the public on mental illness issues to help eliminate the stigma associated with it. The very stigma which discriminates against people with these brain disorders, also hinders legislative support to provide sufficient funding for housing and treatment.
Benedict Haven has been hailed as a role model for other residential facilities. Visitors from other states have come to Benedict Haven to seek assistance in establishing homes of this nature in their communities.

Unfortunately, there are consumers who will never be able to progress to that level and that is the population she is targeting.
Dolores is not one for idle dreaming, however. More...
